When you go to public places, look around for children playing beside their parents, you will find that many have different body structure then their parents. They might have a slim fit body. Why am I highlighting on this? Well, many kids they don’t have the genes that makes them obese, which means that their body will be built up as per what choices the parents will take to make their kids away from obesity and extra weight that is not recommended at all. For that, the 3 ideas to keep in mind when buying kids’ food are:
- Check food label for a shorter one.
For example, if you are going to buy a bag of potato chip, check the ingredients, you will find some labels have more than 15 ingredients, which it doesn’t make sense, where it should be something like (potato, salt, taste and preservative), which let us say 5 to 7 ingredients. - Balanced price/quality food.
When buying, consider that price/quality will be reflected to your medical expenses soon which will be spent on your kids’ health. If you cannot afford expensive organic food, go for balanced choices, reduce of the percentage of harmful ingredients going through food into your kid’s body, by just making balanced choices. - Give your kid’s body time to eliminate toxic ingredients.
Don’t buy bulk, that will make available big quantities to be taken in short period, where the body won’t have time to get rived of that excess of toxic ingredients. So instead, the body will start cumulating them and then they will start impacting its health at a certain moment.
It is up to us, the parents, to start investing in our kids’ health, by reducing their future medical bills and the agony of being sick instead of being healthy, full of energy and giving them the option to have a positive creative mood, not based on excess of toxins, but focused on healthy choices we do now.
