God has endowed our lives with abundance, continually calling each of us to fulfill our life’s purpose and be our true selves. Yet, life can be undeniably challenging and unfair. Like many others, I’ve faced my share of hardships, with one of the most significant being the loss of my eye. At first, my young mind couldn’t comprehend it. I wrestled with questions and even questioned God’s plan for this innocent child. Despite my queries, I never ceased to love Him, continually seeking a deep, personal relationship with my Spiritual Father.
Navigating Temptation and Challenges
The Modern Men of Faith:
In today’s world, temptation lurks around every corner, challenges seem insurmountable, and stress weighs heavily on us. We can’t help but feel the world changing at an unprecedented pace, at times, even terrifyingly so. Questions about the end times, the future of humanity, and our own mortality often consume our thoughts.
Finding Answers in Faith:
For me, these existential questions have already found answers. I’ve come to accept that my time on this Earth is fleeting, with over half of my life already lived as I approach 50. My unwavering belief in the afterlife keeps me focused on living a faithful life today. Encounters with individuals who uplift and strengthen my faith have played a crucial role in my spiritual journey. Moreover, a pivotal moment in my early existence happened, as my parents contemplated abortion due to economic hardships in Lebanon during the early ’70s. My mother’s unwavering faith in God and her commitment to a pro-life choice allowed me to come into this world, nurturing the faith that guides me to this day.
Resilience and the Power of Positivity
The Gift of Resilience
Despite the accident that marked my life, my faith instilled in me a resolute and positive outlook on life and others. I firmly believed that goodness would prevail, for God’s presence is woven into the world. And indeed, goodness did come, as God provided for my needs even during times when I was the prodigal son.
Today, I share my life with my loving family, and my wife and I are committed to raising our children in the embrace of faith. We prepare our two young sons to face life’s challenges with their faith as their guiding light, ensuring they are equipped to navigate whatever life throws their way.

My story is a testament to the power of social support and the company we keep. It offers hope, unwavering support, and the gift of life itself. Remember, God exists within each of us, even when we doubt our place in His plan.
